ORIENTATION PACKAGE FOR NEW FACULTY MEMBERS OF DENTAL FACULTIES AND ALLIED INSTITUTIONS

Preface

This resource package was originally conceived during a Management Institute sponsored by the Canadian Fund for Dental Education and the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD). A grant from the ACFD made its distribution possible. This package is in the form of an orientation manual for new faculty members of a Dental Faculty but can also be used as a model for orienting new dental educators in allied dental institutions.
Each individual institution is free to modify the design and content of this manual according to its own requirements. Once customized for the individual institution, this package will likely become a valuable resource for everyone in the institution.
