Information for Graduates of Non-accredited Programs
Graduates of Non-accredited specialty programs
The Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD/AFDC) facilitates graduates of non-accredited dental specialty programs in becoming licensed practitioners in Canada by providing the Dental Specialty Core Knowledge Examination (DSCKE). The DSCKE is used to facilitate the admission process for entry into Dental Specialty Assessment and Training Programs (DSATP) offered by some Canadian Faculties of Dentistry.
The ACFD, CDRAF and NDEB are completing negotiations that will result in the continued administration of the DSCKE after 2012. While details of the administration have not been finalized, new applications for participation in the DSCKE wil now be accepted.
If you have questions regarding the DSCKE please contact the ACFD office at 613-237-6505 or via e-mail at director@acfd.ca.
