Eligibility Examination
NOTICE
TO PARTICIPANTS OF THE MAY 2008 ELIGIBILITY EXAMINATION
The Association of Canadian
Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD/AFDC) facilitates graduates of non-accredited
dental programs in becoming licensed practitioners in Canada by
providing the Eligibility Examination (EE). The EE is an admissions
requirement used by dental education institutions that provide
a Qualifying Program or a Degree Completion Program. At present,
English language Qualifying Programs are offered at the University
of Toronto, Dalhousie University and the University of Western
Ontario. The University of British Columbia, the University of
Manitoba and the University of Alberta offer Degree Completion
Programs in English.
One of the requirements for applying to these programs will be
the completion of the Eligibility Examination administered by
the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD/AFDC).
If you are applying to an English “Qualifying Program”
or “Degree Completion Program”, you must take the
examination in English. If you are applying for the “Advanced
Standing Program” at l’Université de Montréal,
you must take the examination in French.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
the ACFD office at 613-237-6505 or via e-mail at director@acfd.ca.
